Another busy week in Kestrels!
In maths we learnt about place value of 3 and 4 digit numbers with Miss Dempster and learnt about time using 12 hour and 24 hour clocks with Mrs Ponting. In English, we looked at different nouns, adverbs, verbs and adjectives to help us with our descriptive writing ready for our list poems. We also started our new class book with Miss Dempster called The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane - we love it!
In our topic lessons we have been busy researching all about the Romans and why they invaded Britain as well as looking at the other countries they also invaded. In art, we designed and printed our own Roman patterns with Artist Zoe Heath. Take a look at our final prints below!
In PE with Mrs Knight, we have been working hard on different types of passes in netball. This week we learnt a chest pass!
