Uplands Primary School

27th - 31st January

This week in maths the Y3 children have been working hard on three-digit subtractions and the Y4 children have been adding decimal numbers with 1 and 2 decimal places. With Miss Dempster we have been measuring and converting measurements.

In English, we edited our descriptive story settings and made improvements to make our writing even better! We also wrote our own sentences using conjunctions and fronted adverbials.

In science we have been learning about the skeleton and are now able to name some of the bones. We have also been working hard on learning actions in French and learnt more about staying safe online.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

From Hollie and Henry
