Uplands Primary School

Monday 18th - Friday 22nd November

In English this week, we wrote a character description ready for our story writing next week. We also learnt how to use speech correctly and write a dialogue between characters.

In maths, the Y3 children learnt how to tell the time using an analogue clock and also learnt the days in each month. The Y4 children started to convert time between 12-hour and 24-hour. It was really tricky but we all persevered!

In art with Mrs Walker, we have been sewing onto hessian fabric and created different patterns. We also got our clay pots back and they are now displayed in the hall if you want to come and have a look.

In topic, we have started to make stop motion videos all about The Romans. We are so excited to create our final videos next week! In R.E we learnt about the importance of Yom Kipper and why Jewish people celebrate it around the world.

Have a great weekend from Ewan and Koshika
