Week beginning 9th November

The children have been having a great time learning all about light and dark and fireworks this week. They have been reading and writing their own firework poems, experimenting with torches, batteries and bulbs, and making some superb firework pictures in art. In maths the children have been busy measuring objects around the classroom and putting lengths in order. They had fun drawing round each other and measuring how tall they are using pens. Do you like our life sized picture of Alfie L?

On Friday we loved dressing up and managed to perform our own firework dance in our costumes! The words we were learning this week were - sparkle, dazzle and sizzle. We will let you know our target words each week so that you can talk about them with your children.
