Uplands Primary School

Week beginning 6th July

The children have been watching videos, discussing and writing about woodland animals. They have enjoyed some Percy the Park Keeper stories and related art work. We went back to our minibeast topic and had a lovely afternoon making bug hotels which we are keeping in the yard. The children have been working incredibly hard on writing and maths so they had a well deserved 'play day' on Thursday in which they made group villages. They  used construction toys and drew their own scenery. They then chose their own toys and performed their minibeast song.

They have been a fantastic bunch to teach and we will miss them very much. It's a good job we will only be next door next week and next term so that we can say 'hello.' Happy holidays everyone!
