Who are we and what do we do?

Who Are We?

We are a group of volunteer parents who, along with the Head Teacher, meet on a regular basis to plan events and assist the school in offering experiences ‘above and beyond’ the core educational requirements. Although we work hard, we have lots of fun along the way!

What Do We Do?

We have two main objectives

  1. To raise money to fund activities and equipment for the children that the school would otherwise be unable to afford.
  2. To provide opportunities for parents and children to socialise within the school environment and to bond as a school community.

A Few of Our Recent Successes

Recently we were able to part-fund a shade sail and other improvements to provide a shaded break-out area in the school playground. One of our members was able to arrange for a team of volunteers from his workplace to carry out groundworks and preparation in association with this. The area can be used by the children to shelter from the sun on bright days and may be used for lessons during the summer months.

We also regularly fund:

The whole-school trip to see the pantomime at Cheltenham’s Everyman Theatre

Two Enrichment Weeks per school year

The Year Six Leavers’ hoodies
